Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about counselling and working with me.

Counselling is a form of talking therapy where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a confidential and supportive space. It can help with a wide range of difficulties — from anxiety and low mood to relationship struggles and life transitions.

Sessions take place via a secure video call platform. You will need a stable internet connection, a private space, and a device with a camera and microphone. Many people find online therapy just as effective as meeting in person, with the added convenience of being able to attend from home.

Integrative counselling draws from different therapeutic approaches — in my case, person-centred therapy and psychodynamic thinking. Rather than following one rigid model, I adapt my approach to suit your unique needs, combining empathic understanding with attention to deeper patterns.

Yes. Everything discussed in our sessions is confidential. There are a small number of exceptions — for example, if I believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else. I will explain confidentiality fully before we begin working together.

If you are struggling with difficult thoughts or feelings, experiencing a period of change, or simply feel that something is not quite right — therapy may help. The free initial consultation is a good way to explore this without any commitment.

Yes. I offer counselling in both English and Spanish. I welcome adults and young people who would prefer to explore their experience in their first language, particularly those living in the UK.

Sessions are £35 for 50 minutes. I also keep a limited number of reduced-fee spaces. If cost is a concern, you are welcome to mention this when getting in touch.

I offer a free 15-minute online consultation where we can briefly meet, ask questions, and see whether working together feels right. There is no obligation to continue after this conversation.

Sessions are usually held weekly at an agreed time. Regular sessions help to build the therapeutic relationship and create momentum in the work.

I will provide information about my cancellation policy before we begin working together. I understand that unexpected things happen, and I aim to be flexible and fair.
