About Me
A genuine curiosity about how we make sense of our experiences.
My interest in therapy comes from a genuine curiosity about how we make sense of our experiences — even those that are difficult or painful.
I am especially drawn to the complexity of relationships: how we learn to connect, how we protect ourselves, and how certain ways of being in the world may have developed as a response to what we have lived through.
Living and working across languages and cultural contexts has helped me understand the importance of language as an emotional place. Sometimes, being able to name something in your own language changes the way it feels.
Beyond any specific approach, there is broad consensus that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in the process. If you are thinking about starting therapy, it can be helpful to make use of the initial conversations that many professionals offer, to find someone you feel comfortable working with.
I maintain a practice sustained by regular clinical supervision and ongoing training, with a commitment to offering an ethical, reflective and careful space.
